Silent Sitting

The silent sitting groups at the Ecumenical Buddhist Society
have no affiliation with any particular Buddhist practice or lineage.

They provide a great opportunity for anyone who wants to do silent sitting meditation with others.

The format is very simple – the practice leader rings a bell to begin and end a thirty minute period of silent sitting meditation.

There are four silent sitting groups:

Sunday morning at 9:00 led by Mary Peters

Monday evening at 6:00 led by Kristopher Davis

Tuesday evening at 6:00 led by Kenneth Kirkland

Thursday lunch hour at 11:45 A.M. led by Karen Wisdom and Suzanne Maseratti
