A portion from the original announcement for what was to prove to be
one of our most attended retreats in some time. Below are some of the highlights
of those two days:
The Ven. Lama Kunga Thartse Rinpoche teaches the Vajrayana (Tibetan)
Sakya lineage practices at EBS.
• 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30 - Medicine Buddha (healing) and Avalokitesvara
(compassion) empowerments, teachings and meditation practice. $50 suggested
donation.
• 2 - 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 31 - Green Tara (a meditation practice that helps
us face our fears) and Singhamukha (to purify negativity) empowerments and
blessings. $25 suggested donation.
