Silent Sittings

The silent meditation times at EBS have no affiliation with any particular Buddhist practice or lineage.  And you don't have to be a Buddhist to attend.

Instead, we welcome everybody who wants to sit in silent meditation with other people for a half hour.  On the first Saturday of each month we have a half-day sit

The format is very simple- the practice leader rings a bell to begin and end a thirty-minute period of silent meditation. Individual meditation instruction is also available on request.

We offer many opportunities to join us in silent meditation throughout the week:

Monday through Friday: 11:30 am - 12:00 pm

Saturday mornings:  9:00 - 9:30 am

Sunday mornings :  9:00 - 9:30 am
