The

Lotus Circle

An EBS Legacy Giving Program

The Lotus Circle’s mission is to sustain EBS for the long-term, so that future generations can benefit from the legacy of compassion, mindfulness, and wisdom handed down to us by the founders of our community.

In this lifetime, we are supporting EBS with our time and energy as volunteers, plus financial donations. Beyond this lifetime, we have pledged our continued support through our wills, beneficiary designations, and other legacy giving options. We do not impose restrictions on our donations, trusting the discretion of the EBS Board of Directors. Current members of the EBS Lotus Circle include Anna Cox and Jim Rule, Paul Carreras, John Matlock, Cheryl Woodard and Mick Wiggins.

If you want to join the EBS Lotus Circle or need help making your own legacy donation plan, please contact Charlotte Besch, John Matlock, or Cheryl Woodard.

To recognize Lotus Circle donations, EBS is planning to establish a small meditation garden on the vacant lot next to our building. It will be a peaceful space for quiet contemplation. A plaque, benches and/or engraved stepping stones in the garden will honor donors. Families will be able to scatter ashes and hold memorial services there for anyone who chooses this resting place.
