Dancing With Life by Phillip Moffitt
This book uses the Four Noble Truths to explore how to apply the profound teachings of Buddhism to solving the vexing issues in our lives. It offers a path to an intuitive understanding of ourselves that enables us to live our lives with greater joy and satisfaction.
The Vipassana group will be reading and discussing this book for the next several months, reading about one chapter a week. We are beginning on Sunday March 12th with the introduction and an introduction to this tradition. Don't worry if you can't join us right away, you can always jump in later. If you don't have the book starting out that's no problem - we'll get you caught up, everyone is welcome.
The format for our group is very simple, we meet for one hour a week on Sundays at 7:00 pm. We sit for 30 minutes and then discuss the reading (and any other relevant topics that arise) for the remaining 30 minutes.
