Silent Sittings

The silent meditation times at EBS have no affiliation with any particular Buddhist practice or lineage.  And you don't have to be a Buddhist to attend.

Instead, we welcome everybody who wants to sit in silent meditation with other people for a half hour.  On the first Saturday of each month we have a half-day sit

The format is very simple- the practice leader rings a bell to begin and end a thirty-minute period of silent meditation. Individual meditation instruction is also available on request.

We offer many opportunities to join us in silent meditation throughout the week:

Monday through Friday : 7:00 - 7:30 am

Monday through Friday:  11:30 am -12:00 noon

Monday evenings:  6:00 - 6:30 pm

Tuesday evenings : 6:30 - 7:00 pm

Friday evenings :  6:00 - 6:30 pm

Saturday mornings:  9:00 - 9:30 am
